SENIOR COUNSEL
Anna G. Mills
Anna brings a sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional perspective to Boyd and Cidado, where she focuses her practice on family law, probate administration, and estate planning. With a career rooted in the judiciary and experience
in complex litigation, she offers clients a rare blend of trial-ready advocacy and compassionate counsel.
Before entering private practice, Anna served as a Law Clerk for the four superior court judges of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit. This formative experience provided her with an “insider’s view” of the judicial decision-making
process. A double-licensed practitioner, Anna earned her Georgia Bar license immediately following her graduation from Mercer University School of Law. Her background includes:
- Public Service: Serving for three years as a n assistant to the Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG) in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, representing the interests of the state in sensitive legal matters.
- Civil Defense: Years of experience at a civil defense firm in Chattanooga, where she honed her skills in high-stakes advocacy and dispute resolution.
- Dual-State Practice: She expanded her practice by obtaining her Tennessee Bar license, allowing her to serve clients seamlessly across the state line.
Transitioning her focus to Family Law and Probate, Anna applies her background to help individuals navigate life’s most significant transitions. She is committed to providing clarity and stability during emotional times.
